In a remarkable feat, Team In Training, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s unique charity sports training program, has raised $1 billion so far. This money supports blood cancer research and patient services and is an incredible achievement.
For more than 21 years now, TNT has been offering a win-win situation. Participants enjoy an endurance training program and receive coaching to get in shape and enjoy being fit; while their efforts help to raise funds for a worthy cause. More than 420,000 people have participated so far in everything from hiking adventures and 100 mile bike rides to marathons and half marathons.
This is one more example of the commitment, excellence and creativity that LLS shows in their fundraising efforts. Certainly, the support that they get from people like Corey Ribotsky and so many others makes a difference and an impact.
