Maybe because the founders want to focus on the positive – as they remember positive times from their dogs – the Onyx and Breezy Foundation also seeks to put on enjoyable events for its benefactors.

It’s always nice to be treated well as a supporter of an organization.  It’s great when you feel like it is a two-way thing. At the Onyx and Breezy Foundation, these events seek to do just that.  Board member Corey Ribotsky might be interested in the organization’s recent and upcoming events.  These include the first annual island gala (during March of this year) held at a jazz club and restaurant in Florida, the wine tasting and auction on Broadway, New York (in April) and the 6th annual black tie gala in New Jersey (due to be held in October).  While the organization was set up in memory of dogs who passed on (signifying a sad time), these events are also there to remind supporters of all the fun times had during the lives they shared with “man’s best friend.”

They started a massive email with flyers to begin their bed drive for DAS. Within four days, 100 dog beds had been donated to the shelter.  Contributions came from Dr. Marty Becker of Good Morning America, The Onyx And Breezy Foundation where Corey Ribotsky is a member of the Board of Trustees, and other locations.
